Thrust wydany we wrześniu 1974 roku jest kontynuacją Head Hunters. Płytę nagrywał ten sam skład znany z wcześniejszego Head Hunters, z wyjątkiem perkusisty Harveya Masona, który został zastąpiony przez Mike'a Clarka.
