Recorded in Lisbon over a three-day jam session, where Branko (Buraka Som Sistema co-founder and Enchufada label-head) challenged some of the most critical Lisbon based musicians to improvise over a rhytmic framework. This turned into non-stop hours of recording and later served to accumulate a repository of grooves who served as the beatprint for the album. Soma amplifies authenticity and genuine expression through collaborations with local and international talents.
